What is a WC-104 in a workers' comp claim?

In Georgia, a workers' comp carrier can file a form WC-104 in order to reduce the amount of weekly workers' compensation benefits that an injured worker receives.    This form may be filed after an injured worker is released to light duty by the authorized treating physician.   However, the work comp carrier is not allowed to reduce the amount of weekly benefits until a year after the release to light duty work.    If you have questions about a WC-104 you have received in your Georgia work injury claim, contact experienced workers' compensation attorney Brian Sumrall at 404.924.4595 or visit
