What is the Maximum Weekly Work Comp Benefits in Georgia?

calendar, money and a calculator on a table

For accidents after July 1, 2019, the maximum workers' compensation weekly benefit is $675. Generally, if you are injured on the job in Georgia and you miss time from work, you could be entitled to receive 2/3 of your pre-injury average wages or a maximum of $675.

However, workers' comp carriers do not always voluntarily agree to pay weekly benefits to injured workers. If you were injured at work and would like to discuss whether you are entitled to weekly work comp benefits, contact work injury lawyer Brian H. Sumrall at 404.924.4595 or visit by filling out a contact form today.
