Panel of physicians and workers' comp case.

In Georgia, an employer is required to maintain a posted panel of workers' compensation physicians with six or more doctors. If an employer has a valid posted panel and an injured worker wants to change doctors, then the injured worker must choose a doctor from the panel of physicians. However, if the employer does not have a panel, the the injured worker can choose any doctor. Changing physicians in a Georgia workers' comp case can be complicated. If you would like to discuss a change of physicians with an attorney, contact Atlanta work injury lawyer Brian H. Sumrall at 404.924.4595 or visit
