Workers' comp checks constantly late.

A common problem in the workers' compensation system is late income benefits checks. Checks often do not come on time creating an undue hardship on injured workers. In Georgia, the Employer/Insurer have until the last day of the pay period to mail your workers' compensation check if the check is mailed from within the State of Georgia. If the check is mailed from outside of Georgia, it has to be mailed three days prior to the last day of the pay period. If you have questions about your late work comp check, contact Atlanta attorney Brian H. Sumrall at (404) 857-3835 or visit
