Settlement and Negotiations
In most cases, the parties will resolve a claim through settlement prior
to trial. Settlement allows both parties to exercise a greater degree
of control over the litigation process. Settlement also allows injured
workers to no longer be at the mercy of the insurance company to wait
for a weekly benefits check or authorization of medical procedures.
Whether you have a workers' compensation or personal injury claim,
settlement negotiations always play a key role in the ultimate outcome
of the case. Attorney Brian Sumrall is an experienced negotiator. He has
negotiated hundreds of settlements in cases involving injured individuals,
and has advocated for his clients at countless mediations.
